London?
February 1, 2009
Everyone keeps asking me if I am excited yet and I just can’t be. It does not seem real. Moving out of the country for three months/ completing a internship in an awesome part of town / traveling around Europe. That was a serious fragment. Grammer nazis, I apologize. That sentence was not that great either. Maybe it will hit me when I get on the plane. During winter term, my roommate and I would say it out loud. “We are going to London in a month/2 weeks / 1 week / 4 days.” It never sunk in. I am afraid that when it does, it will all come crashing down and I am going to go crazy.
I hope everyone is doing well and I can’t wait to tell you all about my adventures!

wait until you get on the plane.
I second that. Even after I’d arrived, it took me a few weeks until I realized, holy shit, I’m living here. And then it hit me — I’m in London. But the awe never went away.
Have a great time, hun. And I cannot wait to read all about it.

Hiya … I don’t think we actually know each other but both our blogs are linked to Ryan Boyd’s page and I’m nosey!
Just wanted to say that I live here in London so when you get here, if you need anything at all, feel free to ask! I live in Chelsea and know my way around the city pretty well by now! Any friend of Ryan’s is a friend of mine! You can email (cschwantes@gmail.com) or call 07809827285 … big cities can be scary/lonely or overwhelmingly exciting!!
Cheers
